Bert's Story
Name: Bert
Rescued By: Kitty Cafe Rescue
About Bert:
Bert arrived at Kitty Cafe with his brother, Ernie, after an estate agent found them abandoned in a rented property. Their owner had moved out and left them behind. Nobody knows exactly how long the brothers were alone, but Kitty Cafe gave them a safe place to begin again. With dependable care and regular meals, Bert slowly learned to trust people again.
Today, Bert is a large, fluffy boy who enjoys watching cafe life from a table or ledge in the bottom room. When it’s time for a nap, he’s happy stretching out on a cat scratcher, settling into the cosy bed beneath the stairs, or simply sprawling across the floor. His days now come with warm beds, full bowls, and plenty of company.
